Keelify Affiliate Program — Terms of Service

Version 2026-04-24. These terms govern your participation in the Keelify Affiliate Program ("Program"). By submitting an application and clicking the "I accept" checkbox, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must not be a current Keelify employee or contractor.
  • You must comply with the advertising and consumer-protection laws of your country, including (where applicable) the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) for affiliates promoting to United States audiences and the Norwegian Marketing Control Act (Markedsføringsloven) for affiliates promoting to Norwegian audiences.
  • You may not participate from a country subject to comprehensive United States or European Union sanctions.

2. How attribution works

  • When someone visits a Keelify page using your unique affiliate link, we set a signed cookie called keelify_aff on their browser. The cookie carries only your affiliate code and the time it was set, and it lasts 90 days.
  • If that visitor signs up and converts to a paid Keelify subscription within those 90 days, the conversion is attributed to you.
  • Attribution uses last-click logic: if the same visitor clicks multiple affiliate links before converting, the most recent affiliate link wins.

3. Commission rate and duration

  • You earn 20% of net recurring revenue from every paying customer attributed to you. "Net" means the actual subscription amount paid to Keelify after any discount or refund, excluding sales tax / VAT.
  • The commission applies for 12 months from that customer's first paid Keelify subscription. After 12 months, the customer's continued payments earn no further commission, even if they remain a Keelify customer.

4. Payouts

  • Payouts are issued monthly, on or before the 15th of the following month.
  • Minimum payout threshold is $50 USD in cleared earnings. Balances below the threshold roll forward to the next month indefinitely.
  • Payment method is your choice of SEPA bank transfer, SWIFT bank transfer, or Wise. Currency is USD; conversion to your local currency happens at your bank's or Wise's prevailing rate at the time of transfer.
  • Keelify pays the sending fee. Any fee charged by your receiving bank or by your local jurisdiction is your responsibility.

5. Commission calculation under discounts

  • Commission is calculated on the discounted invoice amount, not on the list price. For example, if a customer used the LAUNCH50 promotion code on a Pro+ Monthly plan ($9.99 list, $4.99 after the 50% discount), your first-month commission on that customer is $0.998, not $1.998. Subsequent months at full price earn $1.998 each.
  • Refunds within 30 days of an invoice automatically claw back the commission for that invoice. After 30 days, the commission is locked in and not subject to clawback.

6. Prohibited practices

You may not:

  • Spam public forums, Reddit threads, Discord servers, or chat groups with your affiliate link.
  • Bid on Keelify-branded keywords (including "Keelify", "keelify.com", and obvious misspellings) on Google Ads, Bing Ads, or any other paid-search platform.
  • Buy email lists or send unsolicited bulk email containing your affiliate link.
  • Impersonate Keelify, claim to represent Keelify, or use the Keelify name or logo in a way that suggests official endorsement.
  • Make false, exaggerated, or unverifiable claims about Keelify's features, benefits, or results.
  • Run incentivized traffic such as paid-to-click services, cashback offers, or coupon-stacking schemes.
  • Engage in cookie stuffing, link cloaking that hides the affiliate relationship, or any technique that sets the affiliate cookie without an explicit user click.

7. Termination

  • Keelify may suspend or revoke your participation in the Program at any time, with written notice, for violation of these terms or for any other reason.
  • You may withdraw from the Program at any time by emailing hello@keelify.com.
  • On termination, any commission already earned and cleared remains payable up to the termination date. Any 12-month commission windows for customers attributed to you stop accruing further commission as of the termination date.

8. Tax

  • You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any income tax, value-added tax, or other tax on commission earnings in your jurisdiction.
  • Keelify will issue a year-end statement summarising commissions paid in the calendar year.
  • Keelify does not withhold tax on your behalf.

9. Confidentiality

  • Aggregate commission rates and Program terms are public. Per-affiliate earnings, customer lists, and payout details are confidential between you and Keelify.

10. Changes to these terms

  • Keelify may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at https://keelify.com/legal/affiliate-terms.
  • Material changes (commission rate, duration, payout schedule) will be communicated by email and require re-acceptance from your partner dashboard before further commissions accrue.

11. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be brought in the courts of Oslo, Norway.
