About Keelify

What is Keelify?

Keelify is a web-based productivity app that combines three things in one weekly view: a task planner, a habit tracker, and a daily mood and reflection tracker. The product is built for individual knowledge workers who want a calm, integrated way to plan their week without juggling three separate apps. The tagline is "Do a little better than yesterday." The product philosophy is that planning, habits, and how you feel make more sense together than apart.

Who is Keelify for?

Keelify is built for individual knowledge workers — designers, developers, writers, founders, consultants, marketers, lawyers, therapists, researchers, and anyone whose week is mostly about deep work and personal routines. It is not built for large teams (no team features) or for users who want AI to auto-schedule their entire calendar (Motion does that better).

What does Keelify cost?

The Free plan is free forever. Pro is $4.17/month billed annually ($49.99/year) or $5.99/month billed monthly. Pro+ is $7.50/month billed annually ($89.99/year) or $9.99/month billed monthly. Both paid plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Cancel in two clicks at any time.

Is the Free plan actually usable?

Yes. The Free plan includes the full weekly planner, auto-transfer of unfinished tasks, daily mood and motivation sliders, up to three habits, and both light and dark warm themes. It is designed so that someone using only the Free plan still gets a calmer week. There is no time limit and no feature countdown.

Is there a launch discount right now?

Yes. The promotion code LAUNCH50 gives 50% off the first billing period of Pro+ (monthly or annual). It is single-use per customer and expires 31 May 2026 23:59 Europe/Oslo. Apply it during checkout.

How it works

How does the weekly planner work?

The default view is five days side-by-side, Monday through Friday. You can switch to seven days in Settings if weekends are part of your work. Tasks within each day are sorted by priority (High → Medium → Low). Anything you don't finish today rolls automatically to tomorrow at midnight in your local timezone. You never start the day staring at yesterday's incomplete list.

What is "auto-transfer"?

Auto-transfer is the rule that any incomplete task on day X is moved to day X+1 at midnight local time. It runs server-side, so the move happens whether or not your browser is open. You don't have to manage the rollover manually. Completed tasks stay where they were finished, dimmed and struck through.

How do habits work in Keelify?

Each habit has a target frequency (daily, weekly, or specific weekdays) and a strength score from 0 to 1. The strength score is a weighted measure of recent adherence. A score of 1.0 means the habit has reached "automaticity" — it no longer takes willpower to do. There are four milestones, based loosely on Lally et al. (2010): Spark (1–7 days), Foundation (8–21 days), Integration (22–66 days), Mastery (67+ days). Each habit also gets one "grace day" per 30 days — a single missed day doesn't reset the streak. You can pause a habit (vacation, sickness) without strength penalty. Free plan: 3 habits. Pro and Pro+: unlimited.

Why one grace day per 30 days?

Because streak panic isn't behavior change. Lally's 2010 research found that missing a single day has minimal effect on long-term habit formation. Keelify's grace day is the design choice that turns that science into a feature. It also reduces the all-or-nothing thinking that causes people to abandon a habit after one slip.

What is the mood tracker?

Two daily sliders, one for mood (1–10) and one for motivation (1–10). It takes about five seconds. Both are optional. The value is what you see when you look at your dashboard later — your mood sits right next to the tasks and habits of the same day, so patterns become obvious.

What is "the three-part reflection"?

Every day on Pro and Pro+, you get three optional one-line fields: Notes (what happened), What can be improved (a single line of self-coaching), Gratitude (one thing). All three are optional, and they lock at midnight local time — you can't backdate yesterday's reflection. You can browse your full reflection history in the Journal.

Why can't I edit yesterday's reflection?

By design. Reflections, mood entries, and habit logs lock in your local timezone (reflections lock at end of day; habits have a 48-hour rolling window for legitimate morning-after ticks). The constraint exists so the data stays honest — you can't retroactively rewrite the week to make it look better than it was. You can always delete historical entries; you just can't modify them.

Pricing & plans

What's the difference between Pro and Pro+?

Pro is the full workflow: unlimited habits, full dashboard with trends and weekly bars, three-part daily reflections, recurring tasks, and CSV/JSON data export. Pro+ adds Juno (the AI weekly coach), custom tags & filters, and priority support. If you don't want AI, Pro is the right plan. Pro+ is for people who want the optional weekly note from Juno and the daily morning plan / end-of-day debrief cards.

How do I cancel?

Two clicks from the Account tab in Settings. Your data stays intact. You drop to the Free plan at the end of your current billing period and keep using everything in Free.

Do you offer a refund?

If you cancel within the 14-day free trial of Pro or Pro+, no charge is taken at all — you simply roll back to Free. After that, refunds are handled case-by-case via support — email support@keelify.com.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. Upgrading takes effect immediately and is pro-rated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Switching between monthly and annual on the same tier is also pro-rated.

Is there a student or non-profit discount?

Not currently. The Free plan is intentionally generous so that students and non-profits can use Keelify without a paid plan. If you have a specific use case, write to support@keelify.com.

AI coaching (Juno)

What does the AI coach actually do?

Juno is Keelify's optional AI coach (Pro+ only). It uses the Anthropic Claude API. Three surfaces, all opt-in: a weekly note by email each Sunday evening, an in-app morning plan card (after 5 AM local time), and an in-app end-of-day debrief card (after 7 PM local time or when you open the reflection surface). Juno never lectures, never uses your data for anything else, and can be turned off entirely without losing any other Pro+ features.

How is Juno different from Motion or Reclaim?

Motion and Reclaim are AI-driven schedulers — they restructure your calendar for you. Juno is the opposite philosophy: it observes, it offers a small note, and it stays out of your way. Motion auto-schedules your tasks to time-blocks; Juno tells you that you've rolled the same task forward four days and asks whether it's still the right week for it. Different shape of help.

Does Juno see my data?

Juno requires AI consent (a separate opt-in beyond Pro+). With consent, your tasks, habits, mood, reflections, and a small "user AI profile" are sent to Anthropic at the moment Juno generates output. Anthropic does not retain this data for training. No email, name, or contact info is sent. You can turn AI consent off any time in Settings → AI Coach. Pro+ users without AI consent get full value of all non-AI features (custom tags, priority support).

Can I limit how much AI I get?

Yes. Coach Mode has four presets — Silent, Light, Active (default), and Full Coach — plus a Custom option where you toggle each Juno surface independently (weekly note, morning plan, end-of-day debrief, right-size Monday, themes). Adjust in Settings → AI Coach.

Is there a cost cap on Juno?

Yes. Juno's underlying API spend is hard-capped at $1.00 per user per month server-side. If you somehow exceed it, the system falls back to the most recent cached output (or for the weekly note, a templated version). You'll never see a stack trace or be charged extra.

Data, privacy, security

Where is my data stored?

Encrypted at rest on Supabase, in EU regions. Row-level security means your data is never visible to anyone else — not even Keelify support without your explicit permission.

Is Keelify GDPR-compliant?

Yes. Keelify is built on EU infrastructure, processes data per GDPR principles (data minimization, purpose limitation, storage limitation, lawful basis), supports the right to erasure (account deletion in two clicks deletes all your data), and supports the right to portability (CSV/JSON export of everything in one click).

Does Keelify train AI on my data?

No. Your data is never used to train AI models — neither Keelify's models, nor third-party models like Anthropic's. When Juno generates output (Pro+ users with AI consent), data is sent to Anthropic at request time only. Anthropic does not retain this data.

Can I export my data?

Pro and Pro+ users can export everything as CSV or JSON — tasks, habits, mood, and reflections — anytime in one click. Free users can export tasks. Account deletion (which is a separate action from export) wipes all your data permanently.

What happens if Keelify shuts down?

You'd get advance notice and a one-click full export window. Your data is yours. We've designed for portability from day one — both formats (CSV for spreadsheets, JSON for re-importing into another tool) are supported.

Can my employer see my Keelify data?

No. Keelify is a personal account, not a workspace product. Even if you use it for work tasks, the account is yours. Row-level security guarantees that no other user (or admin) can read your data.

Platform & devices

Is there a mobile app?

Keelify is a responsive web app and PWA (Progressive Web App). It is installable on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows directly from your browser — tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install Keelify" when prompted. No app-store download. The mobile experience is first-class: bottom tab bar, swipeable days, and a quick-add button always within thumb's reach.

Does Keelify work offline?

The PWA caches recent data so you can view your week offline. New tasks created offline sync when you reconnect. Real-time AI features (Juno) require a connection.

What browsers are supported?

The latest two versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox on desktop. Mobile Safari (iOS 16+) and Chrome Android (recent versions). Older browsers fall back to a read-only view.

Is there a desktop app?

Keelify installs as a PWA on macOS and Windows from any modern Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave). It runs in its own window, has its own dock/taskbar icon, and behaves like a native app. There is no separate Electron app.

What about a native iOS/Android app?

Not currently planned. The PWA experience covers >95% of native-app use cases without requiring an app-store install (or App Store / Play Store fees). If demand justifies it, native apps may come later.

Comparing Keelify

How is Keelify different from Sunsama?

Sunsama is the closest spiritual cousin — both believe in mindful, calm planning. The key differences: Sunsama is calendar-and-tasks-centric and starts at $20/month with no free tier; Keelify includes habits and mood as first-class features, has a free-forever plan, and is at a lower price point. Sunsama integrates more deeply with calendars and external task sources; Keelify is its own opinionated weekly view.

How is Keelify different from Notion?

Notion is a flexible workspace where you build whatever structure you want. Keelify is opinionated: this is the weekly view, this is how habits work, this is where reflection goes. People who love Notion's flexibility usually want to build their own systems. People who choose Keelify want the system already built.

How is Keelify different from Todoist?

Todoist is the world's most popular pure task manager — excellent at tasks, no habit or mood tracking. Keelify trades some pure task power (Todoist has more advanced filters, karma points, and integrations) for an integrated three-pillar view of your week. If your need is "world-class to-do list," choose Todoist. If your need is "tasks plus habits plus mood in one place," choose Keelify.

How is Keelify different from TickTick?

TickTick is the closest direct feature competitor (tasks + habits + calendar). Keelify's differentiation: a warmer tone (TickTick is functional and dense), mood and three-part reflection as first-class features, and the optional Juno AI coach.

How is Keelify different from Habitica?

Habitica gamifies habits with RPG mechanics — XP, gold, character avatars. Keelify is the opposite design philosophy: behavior change comes from automaticity (the science), not from punishment or reward systems. If gamification motivates you, choose Habitica. If gamification feels infantilizing, Keelify is your alternative.

How is Keelify different from Things 3?

Things 3 is a beautiful Apple-only one-time-purchase task manager. Keelify is cross-platform (PWA), subscription-based, and includes habit and mood tracking. If you live entirely in the Apple ecosystem and only want tasks, Things 3 is excellent. If you want cross-platform plus habits and mood, Keelify fits.

Account & support

How do I sign up?

Visit keelify.com/signup and create an account with email/password or Google. The Free plan starts immediately with no credit card.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. Google OAuth is enabled at both signup and login. If you already have an email/password account at the same Google email, the accounts auto-link.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently wipes all your data. Export first if you want a copy.

How do I contact support?

Email support@keelify.com. Pro+ users get priority support (typically same-day response on weekdays). Free and Pro users get a response within two business days.

Where can I report a bug or request a feature?

Email support@keelify.com or — once we launch the public roadmap — vote on Feedback. We read every message.

Affiliate & referral programs

Does Keelify have a referral program?

Yes. Every Keelify user gets a unique referral code. When a friend signs up via your link and converts to a paid plan, both of you get one month free (100% off coupon, applied to the next invoice). Find your code in Settings → Invites.

How is the referral program different from the affiliate program?

The referral program is peer-to-peer (one month free for both parties, no cash). The affiliate program is for content creators and influencers — 20% recurring commission for 12 months on every paid customer you refer, paid in cash. Apply at keelify.com/partners.

Can I be both an affiliate and a referrer?

Yes, but for any single new customer only one applies. If a customer arrives with both an affiliate cookie and a referral cookie, the affiliate attribution wins (because it has a contractual commission obligation). Your referral entry is logged as void with reason "affiliate_precedence."
